A showcase for Switzerland without weapons

Last month, Sales Manager Laurent Stemmler met Thierry Jacolet, deputy head of Swiss and international news at Fribourg’s La Liberté newspaper at the World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Jacolet and other visitors were impressed with the capabilities of Global Clearance Solutions (GCS)’ pioneering Multi-sensor Detection System showcased at our stand.

Jacolet writes: “”Ah, you can detect explosive devices up to 6 metres deep? That’s incredible! In the light of the risk on our borders, this is a vehicle which could be interesting for us.” The head of the Togolese delegation is impressed by the video of the GCS-MDS, a powerful multi-sensor landmine detector presented on GCS's stand at the World Defense Show.”

Dual-use equipment for civilian purposes drew the attention of the whole world, with GCS among four Swiss companies present at WDS. The fair, whose aim is to improve global security through cutting-edge technology, will hold its bi-annual third edition in 2026.
